European Countries

Europe is not a continent that can be represented by just one flag. We chose instead to fly this flag for Europe, a flag of hope.

Europe is an area that is 23 million km2 (8 876 000 mi2). It's population is 728 million. One of the biggest challenges we face in Europe is a linguistic one. With English, French, German, Greek, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Nordic languages and Eastern European languages all presenting challenges with translation of materials.

Another challenge we face is spiritual. Europe is often referred to as "Post-Christian Europe" and the news headlines have indicated that an aggressive secularism is sweeping across the continent. This has certainly had an impact on the condition of marriages in Europe and therefore has negatively impacted a number of children who have had to experience the pain of seeing their parents divorce.

So is there hope for Europe? Absolutely! We are seeing couples' lives turned around, marriages healed, marriages restored and refreshed.

"And I will give them one heart and one way, that they may fear Me forever,

for the good of them, and of their children after them.'' Jeremiah 32.39

The following list of countries in Europe is used by the United Nations when categorising geographic subregions.
