Todd and Candy Halberg interview Lou and Ruth-Ann as they relate how they went into marriage after being childhood sweathearts, how the marriage progressively spiraled downward with adultery, drugs and mental abuse. They entered marriage as broken individuals and Ruth-Ann describes how she became angry with the adultery and sought revenge by committing adultery herself. They explain how they sought healing through marriage counselling, how this turned out and how Jesus healed their marriage.

Coming from two different backgrounds, Nevers and Florence stuggled against customs and life styles that nearly destroyed their marriage. Attending a Married for Life class gave then the tools they needed to combine their strengths. After this interview Nevers entered politics and has been a key figure in Zambian political life.

Jerry and Jan began their marriage believing that they would continue traveling and ministering together even after their children were born. They learned that each marriage must find the balance that works for them.

The early days of their marriage were marked with various military assignments that placed Ken and Sally into two differenct worlds. Ken's life became the military as Sally stayed home raising their family. That gulf produced resentment and frustration between them that only the Lord could heal.

Todd and Candie Halberg interview John and Christina Clark who entered marriage without good role models. Both of them came from broken homes and never experienced stability in their families. They determined that their own marriage would not suffer the problems that their parents' had yet when troubles began, they had little to draw on for healing. John stubbornly fought against his life experience while Christina chose to run from crisis. They soon discovered, though, that both their reactions were based in fear of failure.
