12 Days of Christmas

On the first day of Christmas, my true love gave to me...

This traditional Christmas song has been sung around the world for hundreds of years and celebrates the expression of love through giving. Most of us have difficulty remembering all the verses except for those who have taken the trouble to learn them all so they can show off their "party piece".  Also most of us have never thought of doing something like that for our spouse. Christmas is one of the most stressful times of the year and often family tensions run high, why not make an extra effort this year to be the "true love".

This Christmas why not take a leaf out of the true love's book and think of things you can do to demonstrate your love for your spouse. The best Christmas present is the one that you give not the one you receive and it doesn't have to be something expensive. You can give through your words, your attitude and your actions. These gifts don't come in a box but they are things that your partner will treasure. You can copy some of these ideas or make up your own!
